After starting out as a surfer the light went off with the thought of no more paddling!! With predominant weather from South West, harnessing the wind was the only way forward. From my first days of kiting I have always helped others along the way. This then lead to me becoming a fully qualified BKSA instructor allowing me to teach the most amazing sport to high standards set by a worldwide recognised governing body.

After being forced to retire through injury from racing British Superbikes and the International Road Race scene I needed something to keep the adrenaline flowing. A few failed projects lead me to kitesurfing. I guess the freedom you get from racing bikes is comparable to being out on the water with a kite. But with a competitive nature under my skin course racing was an inevitable route to follow.
